Who are we?

We are Belgians (mother & daughter) and we are both passionate about Hanji craft! We form a good team together, thanks to  our imagination, creativity and brainstorming.
 

How did our Hanji adventure start?

Everything started in 2013 in the United Arab Emirates, when we followed Hanji classes with Jan Conveney. After seeing the result of each project we were achieving with Jan, we became more and more interested in starting our own little business and here we are, Belgian Hanj is born on the 12 october 2016. 

What now? 

​

Hanji has traditionally been used to create decorative or ceremonial objects. For Belgian Hanji, it is essential to offer useful and practical objects, that you can enjoy on a daily basis: pen holders, chest of drawers, boxes of different shapes, earrings, lamps.
